The olive grow
The olive grove that embraces our estate offers a unique experience celebrating the millennia-old tradition of Bolgheri extra virgin olive oil. It is skillfully exposed along the southeast/northwest axis, capturing the sun’s rays and benefiting from a privileged microclimate.
This land, divided into two parts, holds a rich history and legends. The first part consists of centuries-old olive trees, witnesses of a distant time, likely dating back to the period between 1830 and 1850.
Today, with pride, we count 600 olive trees, of which 114 are centuries-old, each with its unique characteristics contributing to the creation of extraordinarily high-quality olive oil.
A health elixir
The extra virgin olive oil we produce is the fruit of the harvest of our olives, grown with love and dedication exclusively on our estate.
Every step, from caring for the trees to harvesting the precious olives, is done with skill and respect for tradition. Our passion for olive oil is reflected in the quality of the final product, enchanting the palate with its delicacy, balance, and richness of aromas.
Here, among the olive groves dancing to the rhythm of the wind, a millennia-old story continues. The centuries-old olive trees are silent witnesses to the love for the land and the art of olive cultivation.

Water has always been one of the fundamental elements influencing agronomy and significantly impacting the quantity and quality of olive oil. At Terre dei Ghelfi, we are deeply committed to conserving water resources. Our priority is to minimize water usage, and this goal guides every step we take.
We are exploring and investing in natural and sustainable methods to further reduce our use of water and substances. Our vision is to create a sustainable balance between humans and nature, allowing our olives to thrive in an ideal environment while preserving our precious planet.
